Logan International Airport (BOS) is the primary airport serving New England, and one of the nation’s busiest ones. It has recently completed a $4-billion major expansion and modernization. Logan Airport is located a convenient two miles from the city center, with several public airport transportation options from downtown and suburban locations.
Another way to arrive to Boston is by train: Amtrak trains depart from stations centrally located in cities along the eastern corridor, like New York, Philadelphia, Providence Station, or Washington, DC, and arrive at one of four stations in the Boston metro area. Train rides throughout the Northeast offer spectacular views, such as the scenic landscape of the Connecticut coastline or the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. History
